• Prinsip kerja
Ruang dalaman akumulator dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian: nitrogen di dalam bak dan minyak hidrolik di luar bak. Apabila pam hidrolik menekan minyak hidrolik ke dalam akumulator, kapsul akan berubah bentuk tekanan, jumlah gas dengan tekanan
meningkat dan mengurangkan. Minyak hidrolik disimpan secara beransur-ansur. Jika kerja sistem hidrolik memerlukan minyak hidrolik tambahan, maka akumulator mengeluarkan minyak hidrolik supaya tenaga sistem diimbangi.
